Fort Worth Botanic Garden is free, and open to the public. They host events for the community multiple times a year, such as the Japanese Water lantern festival! I had the opportunity to visit the gardens when it wasn't all that busy, right before spring. I will definitely be going back to visit once the flowers have all bloomed to experience the full beauty the garden has to offer.
My main focus as always when I'm photographing nature, is to capture the structure of trees. With it being spring the trees are starting to fill with leaves and I won't be able to capture tree formations as I have over the past several months. Thankfully, the garden did not disappoint, and there were plenty of intertwining branches to be captured. I also managed to take photos of budding flowers and the statues that were scattered throughout the gardens.
